- Aerolight Broadfold
Product Description
The Aerolight Broadfold is the latest addition to the Aerolight range. A simple, yet effective wheelchair ramp that folds lengthways to reduce length and allow transport in a vehicle. As there is no hinge running down the centre of the ramp, this ramp is the ideal choice for people with three-wheeled scooters.
Designed and manufactured in the UK and with a 2 year warranty, the Aerolight Broadfold utilises lightweight honeycomb aluminium to reduce weight and has the benefits of rubber grips on the underside of the parts of the ramp that make contact with the step and ground, thereby reducing any potential for movement. The ramp also has an excellent and hard wearing non-slip surface.
Features Include:
- New narrow door lip measures on 714mm (28"), offering compatibility with even more doors and vehicles than before
- New anti-slip surface and rubber grips eliminate the risk of accidents or ramp movement
- Asymmetric lip allows smooth transition on and off the ramp and allows user to enter onto the ramp from any angle.
- Designed and manufactured in the UK, with a weight capacity of up to 55st (350kg)
- Ideal for vehicle loading – Superb option for minibus and taxi drivers

Seems very well made. One star off for damage on delivery.

Bought the 6-foot version.
Arrived with damage to two corners. Had presumably been dropped on them while folded, in transit somewhere. The cardboard box and small pieces of polystyrene are just not suitable for an item this shape and weight.
Bentley Fielden apologised and instantly organised a replacement. That arrived perfect!
Certainly appears to be very well made.
Now waiting till next month when I take my Mother on holiday with her electric 3-wheel scooter (TGA Breeze Midi 3) and a Europcar hire van. Watch this space for updates! -
Scooter Ramp
Posted by R. Wilson on 26th May 2016
My wife has a three wheeled scooter and I wanted a ramp to help me load it into the back of our Ford Galaxy. I needed the ramp to be about 6-7ft long and be able to be folded up to go in the boot. I spoke to a chap at Bentley Fielden and he recommended the Aerolight Broadfold. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I'm glad I did, it's perfect for what I want, it's reasonably light, folds in half and fits in the boot and has rubber grips on the top and bottom, protecting my car and stopping any scope for slipping. Very happy with purchase and advice given.
